There’s something about summer that always feels a little like the 90s days that move more slowly, friends who show up without a plan, music playing from someone’s old speaker. It’s simple, real, and a bit messy, the energy that doesn’t need filters or schedules.

We packed up for a small picnic, nothing fancy. A few snacks, cold drinks, and everyone in the same worn-in tees. The grass was warm, the light was soft, and time didn’t seem to matter. Just stories, laughter, and the feeling of being exactly where you should be.

Maybe that’s what summer’s always been about, not the big moments, but the ones that feel familiar. Sun on your face, friends close by, and clothes that let you forget what time it is. This season, take it slow. Keep it easy. Like a summer that never really ended.
